  1. I SALUTE ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVE IN THE MILITARY. THESE ARE GREAT PICS. IT GAVE ME SOME INSIGHT OF THEIR WEAPONS AND VEHICLES THAT GOES INTO COMBAT. MAY THE GREAT USA ALWAYS BE FREE.

  2. As a former soldier, I see this and think it’s nice that people put things like this up, and show support. I just wish that we didn’t need the armed forces, I wish that the military was never created in any country let alone our own. Fighting these wars are pointless wastes of human life and resources that could be used to further our world towards a peaceful and waste-less society.

  3. I’m a vet, and you should hug a soldier. But if you really want to honor the sacrifices of the men and women in our armed forces, then you should stop voting for men and women who profit directly from the arms industry, or the wars of choice they start, but never serve in (nor their children). People who really care act, people who pretend to care talk, a lot.

    • This post was in support of our troops; it was not meant to be talking a lot. The sentiment behind this post came straight from the heart.

  4. I am not so sure we are actually as “free” in the USA as we would like to believe – or are told. It is sad the truth to say there are a number of countries that are freer than the USA. Even so, we must respect the people in our armed services who do what they feel is right.

  5. American needs to cut back on military spending. Their presence in areas of the world that hold “national interests” is sickening. America should be shamed for the destruction they have caused in foreign nations. Why must the American people glorify it’s brutal, destructive dominance? Shouldn’t a military be used primarily for the protection of its allies and it’s country?

  6. As a vet with 2 vet sons, ancestors, and next gens who are military–THESE are the people who guard us while we sleep-they aren’t in the news like the people/trash/nuts who usurp the news while we sleep. As for the military-as long as necessary and as much as it costs-I’m glad OURS is #1! What idiot would want us as #2?

    • Are you the Paul Miller who served with Alan Bustamante? 82nd? 509th? My husband has been wondering abouth the Paul Miller he served with.

  7. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!! If all you WEINIES got your way, and the military went away, SO WOULD OUR GREAT COUNTRY!!! The biggest threat to the well being of this country is you “warm and fuzzy hand-wringers” that don’t have a grip on reality. No one has ever made you take responsibility for your own actions, and you expect to live your life out in a cocoon where nothing bad ever happens. GUESS WHAT? Life isn’t like that, and the sooner you figure that out, the better off we will all be. BLESS ALL BRANCHES OF OUR MILITARY AND ALL MEMBERS AND CIVILIANS WORKING TO SUPPORT THEM. The pictures were absolutely GREAT!!!!

  8. Love the pictures, the quality is top notch. Any time we can show our troops to the public and what they do is fantastic. One correction tho…. Next to the last picture, hook down, ain’t happening in a launch. That’s a landing. Guessing that’s a cross deck photo from the back end of the launch side.
