Jeju Island - Seongsan Ilchulbong 성산 일출봉 which means sunrise peak

This is Seongsan Ilchulbong a 180 m high tuff volcano named “Sunrise Peak” because climbing to the top to view the sunrise is a popular activity. This location is the famous round almost-island that can be seen in pictures of everywhere in Jeju. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the top, covering over 600 steps.   5. When I think of Korea I only think of wars and strife and civil conflict. This was a bit of gorgeous viewing relief. God has indeed blessed the Korean people where man has not.

  6. Exceptionally excellent visual feast for the eyes ! On the only trip I’ve ever made to South Korea , we saw most of Pusan and some of Seoul . This view of South Korea is unimaginably unconnectable to my past experiences! Thanks for putting these up here! My wife and I will ask to see if we can make this trip ; . . .only if the Good Lord is willing. What a stunning place of Beauty HE has made!
